| While there are many levels of upright piano repair and “resuscitation,” complete restoration is rare; and the cost of restoration will likely exceed the value of the instrument. Nevertheless, there are occasions, such as when a client has a sentimental connection to an instrument or if the cabinet is particularly ornate and/or appropriate for an interior design, that an upright piano may be completely restored to its original condition or better.
Such an approach might include a new soundboard, pinblock, action, cabinet refinishing etc. Absolute Piano is capable and experienced in delivering this level of service. |
