Absolute Piano Restoration, of Lowell, Massachusetts is proud to announce the purchase of the soundboard panel manufacturing division of Roseland Piano Co. The two companies have been working closely over the past year for a smooth transfer of all equipment and processes. All inventory is now located on the east coast and much of the tooling and equipment have been upgraded. The same high quality Sitka Spruce tongue and groove panel will be available with an emphasis on supplying panels built to the custom specifications of the rebuilder. In addition to soundboard panels, ribstock, and bridge capping materials, Absolute Piano has developed new products for the RC&S rebuilder. One such offering is the unique laminated ribstock built with variable radii and custom specified grain densities. Roseland Piano will now dedicate 100% of its efforts to new keyboard manufacturing. |
| Each soundboard is hand selected and constructed from our own inventory of the finest grade Sitka Spruce tone wood. Since we are able to mill our own lumber, we have total control over the qualities of the soundboard panel, including grain density, grain angle, thickness and color. We also supply custom panels to other high-end rebuilding shops throughout the United States. |
